We are indeed blessed to experience the world through our five senses. How wonderful it is to watch the abundance of nature all around us, the gardens, the rivers, the mountains, and so many wonderful man-made creations, to listen to a piece of soothing music, enjoy delicious cuisines, to feel the love of all our near and dear ones! There are many however, who need us by their side, and require special care and guidance to experience and understand these senses. By sharing our time and reaching out to help, we can bring a lot of joy, happiness and a sense of belonging in their lives. It’s my privilege to be a part of this wonderful close knit community. The Society for Deaf and Mutes has been working tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of these children for over a century. I invite you to join in and step into this world, because there is much to share and also learn from them. Their warmth, cheerfulness and simplicity strikes a chord and transforms us.  Let’s join hands and help in making a difference.
